Kathleen Lynam brings extensive clinical, operational, and executive level experience in both small and large healthcare organizations across the country to her role as Executive Coach. Her greatest delight is working side by side with all members of the healthcare team—she is equally comfortable assisting an environmental services worker in finding different ways to wow patients and families or rounding side-by-side with a CEO or CMO of a hospital, helping them solicit authentic feedback from members of their teams and the patients and families for which they care. Coaching is her passion, and her “calling” lies in helping those in healthcare see the wonderful difference they can make in a patient’s experience while in their care.
April Blankenship offers her clients nearly two decades of clinical and leadership experience in healthcare, including 18 years at Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Florida. A seasoned clinician consistently recognized for excellence in leadership development and communication, she is dedicated to impacting patient outcomes through staff development, physician satisfaction, and patient satisfaction.
Melissa brings 20 years of health and human services leadership experience to HealthStream Engagement Institute. Her passion is centered on the development of people, and she thrills in the positive outcomes that come through teaching new ways of looking at challenges and at the processes clinicians use to improve the care of patients. Melissa’s conviction is that the strong engagement of employees, in the service of providing patient-centered care, is the key to the patient experience. Melissa is a subject matter expert coach for teaching leaders and employees how to manage difficult employees and conversations.
